Description
"Author Frank Carney is concerned with such fundamental ideas as reason vs. faith, and superstition vs. religion. His script has to do with a girl who returns to the poor farmhouse in which she was born in Ireland's County Mayo, after working in England during World War II. It is obvious that she is emotionally disturbed. A well-meaning doctor, who seeks to find a reason behind everything, thinks her condition can be bettered in a hospital. But the family priest is certain that she is the victim of evil spirits as a result of having been used as a spiritualist's contact." p. 3.
