Alice is nineteen-years-old, fed up with her small town life, her dead-end job and an embarrassing mother. Alice takes off and heads down to Florida. Not long after her escape her car breaks down. Two good samaritans seem to appear out of nowhere and offer to drive Alice the rest of the way. Bill and Sandra are middle-aged retirees traveling the country in their RV.
