Frogs can be found almost anywhere on earth, as long as they can have access to fresh or slightly salt water. While common in the tropics, they also make their habitat near the polar caps and even in deserts. Some frogs are poisonous and many take on vibrant colors. Since frogs live both in water and on land, it is usually difficult not to see one now and again.
